KeepSpot does not operate servers that store your content. It has no KeepSpot login, advertising SDK, or third-party analytics collection.

KeepSpot supports compatible exports from Safari, Pocket, Instapaper, Raindrop, and the standard Netscape bookmark format.

  • Export from the old service first and keep that file as a backup.
  • Import the compatible file into KeepSpot.
  • Review the library before removing the original export.

Does KeepSpot require an email address or account?
No. KeepSpot has no sign-up or login. Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store.
Does KeepSpot upload my bookmarks to its own servers?
No. Your library is stored in the app's sandbox on your device. If you enable sync, it uses your personal iCloud account.
Can I save from apps other than Safari?
Yes. Apps that expose compatible content through the iOS Share Sheet can send links and supported items to KeepSpot. What an app shares can vary by app and content type.
Can KeepSpot replace every browser bookmark feature?
KeepSpot is designed as a searchable save-it-for-later library, not a browser sync engine. Keep browser bookmarks for pages you visit constantly; use KeepSpot when you want context, organization, or mixed content in one place.
