What is KeepSpot?+
A private save-it-for-later app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Save links, notes, photos, voice memos, and files — then organize everything in color-coded collections. No account required, nothing stored on our servers.
Do I need an account?+
No. There are no KeepSpot logins. Your library lives on your device and, if you choose, in your own iCloud — not on our backend.
What can I save?+
Links and articles, text notes, photos, voice memos, files, and anything you can share from another app using the iOS Share sheet. Articles get a cleaner reading view where possible.
How does the free version work?+
Free gives you up to 50 saves and 20 custom collections. Voice memos, Smart Photo Search, and iCloud sync are all available on free — the limit is how much you store, not which features you can use.
What does Premium include?+
Premium removes the save and collection caps so you can store as much as you want. Pricing and any trial offer are shown in the app at checkout. Cancel anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings.
Is my data private?+
Yes. No KeepSpot accounts, no third-party analytics, no sending your content to our servers. If you turn on sync, it goes through Apple's iCloud — tied to your Apple ID, not us.
How does sync work?+
Turn it on in Settings and KeepSpot uses iCloud to keep your saves and collections in sync across your devices. Your local library always works regardless of sync status.
Can I import from another app?+
Yes — KeepSpot supports importing from Pocket, Instapaper, Raindrop, Safari, and standard Netscape bookmark exports. You won't have to re-save everything by hand.
What about YouTube, X, Instagram, and other platforms?+
KeepSpot detects the platform when you share a link. Open web content gets the richest treatment. Walled platforms (login-required, app-only) may save the link and metadata rather than full content — still useful, just with honest limits.
What is Smart Photo Search?+
Photos you save can be scanned on-device so you can search for text that appears inside them — useful for screenshots, menus, receipts, and labels. Toggle it in Settings → Features.
Can I lock the app?+
Yes. Enable Face ID or Touch ID in Settings and KeepSpot will require biometric authentication to open.
What happens when I hit a limit?+
KeepSpot will prompt you to upgrade or free up space by deleting content you no longer need. No data is lost automatically.
